Family estate founded in 1990 with about 58 ha of vineyards and a tasting cellar 13 metres below ground.
Jaroslav and Jarka Ostrožovič started in 1990 and now farm about 58 ha in the Vlčina, Chotár and Makovisko sites around Veľká Tŕňa. Tastings with sommelier commentary are held all year for groups of four or more in a tuff cellar 13 metres underground (no children under 15; there is a lift). The estate makes both traditional oxidative selections and essences and fresh, reductive varietal wines, and has guest rooms and wellness above the cellar.
