Winery · Streda nad Bodrogom
Winery in Streda nad Bodrogom, outside the Tokaj region, with sommelier-led tastings in a 200-metre cellar once owned by the Vécsey barons.
Chateau Vécsey was founded in 2008 and continues the name of the Vécsey barons, former owners of its tuff cellar. Streda nad Bodrogom lies outside the seven-village Tokaj region, and we have not verified which of its wines carry the Tokaj protected designation. Sommelier-led tastings of 6, 8 or 10 wines include a tour of the 200-metre cellar and are for groups of at least six adults (no children under 13 in the cellar).
This place lies just outside the seven villages of the delimited Tokaj wine region (East Slovak wine region).
